Job summary

Qualifications

• IBMS Specialist portfolio or equivalent
• HCPC registration
• Demonstrable post HCPC registration laboratory experience
• Specialist level knowledge in bacteriology

Responsibilities

• Day-to-day sample processing and analytical microbiology investigations to standard of timeliness and quality
• Supervise MLAs within the work area and participate in training
• Engage in on-call and weekend duties
• Familiarise with ISO 15189, HSE and quality systems and participate in audits/education
