An exciting opportunity is available for a Pathology Research Biomedical Scientist to gain experience and skills working on a range of clinical research studies in our Pathology department. You will play a key role in supporting the conduct and delivery of high-quality clinical research, collaborating with clinical investigators and research teams on National Institute for Health Research (NIHR) studies. The candidate is expected to contribute to our biochemistry laboratory services as per the service level contract.

You will join a laboratory at the forefront of the national Modernising Pathology agenda, with strong focus on personal and professional development. We support your growth through access to various internal and external courses tailored to the role.
Research experience is advantageous but not essential, as training will be provided. A background in biochemistry is essential.
Our laboratory is accredited for UKAS ISO:15189, MHRA, and as a training laboratory by IBMS for registration and specialist portfolios leading to HCPC registration.
