The Biomedical Science team at Pulse is currently recruiting for a Band 6 Biomedical Scientist to work in Guildford. We are seeking a Biomedical Scientist capable of making a significant impact in supporting the laboratory’s Microbiology service.

Position Details:

• Role: Biomedical Scientist
• Band: 6
• Location: Guildford
• Hours: 37.5 per week
• Duration: Ongoing

Responsibilities:

As a Biomedical Scientist in Microbiology, your duties will include reading cultures, identifying significant pathogens, performing susceptibility testing, supporting senior biomedical scientists, and guiding junior staff.

Essential Requirements:

• HCPC registration
• IBMS Specialist diploma in Medical Microbiology or equivalent
• NHS laboratory experience at Band 6 level
