Job summary

Bedfordshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, Bedford site, is recruiting a Biomedical Support Worker to join the Clinical Biochemistry team. Ideal candidates may have prior lab or hospital exposure, with full training provided.

Qualifications

• Previous laboratory or hospital experience would be advantageous; full training will be provided.

Responsibilities

• Support higher biomedical staff in delivery of a coordinated laboratory service.
• Contribute to day-to-day lab operations and routine technical duties.
• Follow UKAS standards, QMS, and ISO 15189 requirements.
• Assist with training and development of other laboratory staff.
