Job summary

Bhasvic in Brighton is seeking a part-time Science Technician to support the Biology Department, with some duties in Physics. Flexible start and finish times may be discussed at interview, including early mornings or late afternoons.

Permanent, 39 weeks per year, 18.5 hours weekly over three days; pro-rata salary £12,169 per annum (full-time £28,634). You will automatically join the Local Government Pension scheme.

Qualifications

• Requires a Science degree in Biology or related subject.
• Alternatively, GCSE/A-level in Science with two years lab experience.
• Must have practical laboratory experience.

• Work mainly in Biology Department with some duties in Physics.
• Flexible start/finish times with occasional early mornings/late afternoons.
• Support teaching labs and equipment preparation.
