Job summary

The Princethorpe Foundation is seeking a part-time Science Technician to join the friendly Science Department and support KS3 to KS5 alongside current technicians. Immediate start is preferred.

The role is 22.5 hours per week, term-time only (36 weeks per year), working 8:00–16:00 with a 30-minute lunch over three days (Mon, Thu and Fri preferred). Salary on the D9–D11 scale, depending on qualifications and experience.

Qualifications

• Basic numeracy and literacy skills are required.
• A flexible and collaborative approach is advantageous.
• Willingness to undertake further studies would be beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Support KS3 to KS5 science teaching and assist current technicians.
• Keep laboratories, preparation rooms and storage areas clean, tidy and well-organised.
