Job Details

Exalto Consulting is currently recruiting for a contract Bioinformatician for an outside IR35 role, offering 100% remote working and paying £300-£360 per day depending on experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop and validate novel NGS pipelines using Python/R in a clinical oncology setting.
• Analyze Illumina NGS data, including copy number variation and whole genome sequencing.
• Automate data processing workflows and productionize analytical pipelines.
• Ensure accuracy and reproducibility in biomarker analysis, including Small Variants, Copy Number Variants, and Structural Variants.

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of applied experience in bioinformatics data analysis.
• Proficiency with bioinformatics tools and platforms.
• Strong programming skills in Python, R, or similar.
• Experience with cloud computing platforms, preferably Amazon AWS.
• Experience with NGS biomarker processing.

Desirable

• Experience with Illumina Dragen.
