Job summary

Air Liquide Biogas Solutions UK seeks a Plant Manager to lead the Northwick Power site in Chipping Campden, Moreton-in-Marsh. You will oversee engineering, operations and admin, report to the General Manager, and guide a 12-person team with occasional UK travel. On-call duties rotate every four weeks with a call-out payment.

You will drive profitability through optimized feeding plans, PAS 110 compliance, and capital projects, while ensuring safety and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Degree in a related discipline.
• NEBOSH qualification.
• Experience in production/operational plant or waste sector.
• Experience in project management, customer relationship building, and stakeholder management.
• Team leadership experience.

Responsibilities

• Drive Operational Excellence: Optimize plant operations and digestate handling to maximize profitability and PAS 110 compliance.
• Lead Strategy & Financial Growth: Oversee business planning, budgeting, and monthly financial reporting with the Finance team; manage capital projects.
• Champion Safety & Compliance: Ensure adherence to HSE policies, conduct risk assessments (RAMS), audits and inspections.
• Empower the Team: mentor and manage a 12-person team, coordinate training, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
