Job summary

Biotage is seeking an Applications Scientist to join our EMEA Regional Marketing team. The role focuses on developing and optimizing sample preparation applications, with emphasis on SPE, SLE, and related bioanalytical workflows used in pharmaceutical, CRO and analytical labs.

Qualifications

• Degree or higher in Chemistry or related field.
• Experience in analytical chemistry with bioanalysis or sample preparation.
• Proficiency with SPE/SLE techniques and related workflows.
• Experience developing, optimising and trouble-shooting lab methods.
• Understanding of sample preparation workflows in pharma, bioanalysis or CRO labs.
• Interest in automation and applying automation to workflows.

Responsibilities

• Develop, optimise and troubleshoot sample preparation workflows (SPE/SLE).
• Develop applications relevant to bioanalysis, pharma and CRO labs.
• Generate data and evidence to demonstrate workflow performance.
• Support customer demonstrations, PoCs and evaluations.
• Collaborate with Sales to address customer requirements.
• Translate manual workflows into automated methods where appropriate.
• Create application notes, workflow guides and technical content.
• Share customer insights with Product Management and R&D.
