Job summary

Eurofins is seeking a BioAssay Senior Scientist to perform routine and stability testing of biologics within the client’s Analytical Service Department. You will use ELISA, SPR, and cell-based potency assays to generate GMP-compliant data, while coordinating timelines and providing scientific leadership.

You will mentor colleagues, support method development and troubleshooting, document results in ELN, and maintain high quality records in a collaborative client-focused environment.

Qualifications

• Degree or higher in a relevant scientific discipline with experience in a bioanalytical, GMP-regulated lab.
• Extensive hands-on experience with biologics testing: ELISA, cell-based potency assays, Biacore (SPR), aseptic techniques, 96-well plates.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and non-routine testing of biologic drug substances in the client’s Analytical Service Department.
• Coordinate assay activities, manage project priorities and timelines; ensure GMP-compliant, high-quality data delivered to client expectations.
• Document, analyse and report results using ELN and ensure records meet client, Eurofins and regulatory requirements.
• Support method development, validation, troubleshooting, trend analysis and OOS investigations; deliver study objectives.
• Act as SME, provide mentoring and training; support recruitment and ensure training compliance.
• Maintain laboratory operations, instrument maintenance, reagent management, and SOP updates.
• Build strong client relationships through clear communications and proactive collaboration.
