Job summary

WSP seeks a talented BIM Coordinator to join the Civil team in Wales and South‑West region. The role is shaped to fit capability and experience, with collaboration across engineers, managers and digital leads.

You will drive advanced BIM workflows, promote standards, and support smarter modelling across diverse civil infrastructure projects. The position emphasises growth through training and access to leading technologies.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to coordinate others to meet project goals and objectives.
• Solid knowledge of civil and structural design engineering and principles.
• Must have strong proficiency in the advanced use, set-up and configuration of Bentley or Autodesk authoring tools.

Responsibilities

• Provide advanced specialist support for planning, mobilisation and production of Civil structure BIM models and documents using Revit and related technologies.
• Support project management and digital/BIM leads with development and enforcement of digital delivery standards.
• Uphold quality, value addition and future‑ready delivery across projects.
• Implement model first principles across relevant Civil projects.
• Create and deploy model templates and configurations to meet project needs.
• Manage reusable BIM components for consistent parametrised modelling.
• Collaborate with digital leads, surveyors and engineers to streamline workflows.
• Contribute to Civil working groups to improve ways of working.
• Implement BIM validation and quality control processes.
• Audit and share lessons learned and best practices.
• Develop automations with in‑house applications in line with the Civil Automation Framework.
• Improve use of BIM data across projects and support digital trainings.
