Job summary

Dowds Group seeks an experienced BIM Manager to lead BIM delivery and coordination across multiple projects, ensuring high-quality digital design, integration, and buildable solutions.

You will embed BIM into project delivery, acting as the link between design, coordination, and site teams to drive programme performance, quality, and technical excellence with regular site visits and an office-based presence for engagement.

Qualifications

• Proven BIM coordination/management experience within MEP or construction
• Experience coordinating complex projects with multidisciplinary teams
• Knowledge of BIM standards (ISO 19650 or similar) and offsite/modular approaches

Responsibilities

• Lead BIM delivery across multiple projects, ensuring alignment with programme, cost and quality
• Coordinate federated models across MEP disciplines
• Embed BIM across all project stages from design to handover
• Monitor model quality, clash detection and outputs
• Support BIM standards, processes and workflows
• Ensure compliance with BIM Execution Plans and company standards
• Promote use of Common Data Environments and digital tools
• Interface between BIM teams, design consultants and delivery teams
• Support design coordination meetings and resolve clashes and buildability issues
• Collaborate with Design Managers, Project Managers and site teams
• Support digital handover and asset data requirements
• Champion BIM and digital construction technologies
• Support modern methods of construction and offsite approaches
• Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and coordination through digital tools
