Job Details

£55k- £65k (Depending on experience)

Croydon, South London

This role involves joining a building services design consultancy working on projects such as large-scale housing, education, and commercial developments.

Initial project includes a £25 million MEP package for a 21-storey commercial and mixed-use building.

The ideal candidate is ambitious, self-motivated, and a team player.

Responsibilities

• Producing 3D MEP coordinated models and 2D drawings up to construction level for various projects.
• Developing models and drawings from engineer’s mark-ups or briefs.
• Managing the CAD team workload.
• Ensuring quality standards through quality assurance procedures.
• Attending project coordination meetings with engineers, clients, and the design team.

Experience Required

• At least 5 years of experience using Revit MEP and AutoCAD.
• Good understanding of building MEP services and the built environment.
• Experience in a consulting engineering practice.
• Knowledge of BIM Level 2 standards.
• Strong design coordination skills across MEP, architectural, and structural services.
• Clash detection experience is preferred.
• Knowledge of current Building Regulations.
• Excellent communication skills for collaboration and client meetings.
