Job summary

ACCIONA ENERGY is seeking an experienced BIM Lead in London to drive development, management and coordination of federated BIM models across the full project lifecycle. You will ensure digital representations stay aligned with designs, progress and handover requirements, supporting engineering, construction and commissioning teams.

You will collaborate with Design, Survey, Construction and Technical Office colleagues to maintain model integrity, manage information, and deliver high-quality

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, or related engineering discipline.
• Experience supporting infrastructure, utilities, or industrial projects.
• Proficient in BIM processes and information management.
• Experience in live operational environments with safety focus.

Responsibilities

• Lead development, coordination, maintenance of federated BIM model through project lifecycle.
• Ensure 3D model reflects approved designs, construction progress, and completed works.
• Coordinate engineering information across Technical Office, Design, Construction, Survey, and Temporary Works.
• Collaborate with Technical Office to capture decisions and changes into BIM model.
• Review survey data, red-lines, and as-built records for federated model.
• Maintain BIM models, CAD drawings, construction drawings, and record documentation.
• Incorporate revisions, RFIs, changes, and design modifications into project models.
• Conduct regular model validation to verify alignment with site conditions.
• Perform clash detection and coordinate multidisciplinary issues.
• Manage drawing registers, model registers, and digital information workflows.
• Ensure compliance with BIM standards, ISO 19650, and CDE procedures.
• Coordinate information exchanges among designers, subcontractors, survey providers, construction teams, and clients.
