Job summary

Energy Jobline ZR is seeking an experienced Digital Construction Manager to lead BIM and digital construction delivery for major projects in Birmingham. You will drive BIM processes, information management standards and BEP/EIR implementations across the project lifecycle.

The role requires coordinating with design teams, consultants and supply chain partners to ensure COBie compliance and the successful delivery of digital strategies.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in Digital Construction / BIM Management.
• Strong knowledge of design coordination and clash detection.
• Good working knowledge of COBie and information management.
• Strong understanding of BIM processes, BEPs, EIRs and ISO 19650 principles.
• Experience working with multidisciplinary design teams, consultants and subcontractors.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to drive digital adoption and support project teams in implementing BIM processes.
• Proactive approach with strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate digital construction and BIM activities across projects.
• Manage and support design coordination and clash detection processes.
• Work with design teams, consultants and subcontractors to identify and resolve design issues.
• Support the development and implementation of BEPs and EIRs.
• Manage project information and ensure compliance with digital standards.
• Coordinate the delivery and federation of models across the project lifecycle.
• Support COBie adoption and ensure information requirements are met.
• Provide guidance and training to project teams and supply chain partners on BIM and digital construction processes.
• Promote adoption of digital construction technologies and drive continuous improvement.
• Produce regular progress updates and reports on digital construction delivery.
• Collaborate with project and design teams to embed digital requirements in tender and construction processes.
