Job summary

Fawkes & Reece London is seeking an experienced Digital Construction Manager to join our team in London. You will drive BIM and digital delivery across major projects, working with project teams, designers and supply chain partners.

The role focuses on implementing BEPs, EIRs, ISO 19650 standards, coordinating models and COBie, and promoting digital construction adoption across the business. You will provide guidance, training and regular progress reporting to ensure successful delivery.

Qualifications

  • Proven BIM Management experience within construction.
  • Strong knowledge of BEPs, EIRs and ISO 19650.
  • Experience coordinating design teams, consultants and subcontractors.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and coordinate digital construction and BIM activities across projects.
  • Manage and support design coordination and clash detection processes.
  • Work with design teams, consultants and subcontractors to resolve design issues.
  • Develop BEPs and EIRs; ensure information management standards are met.
  • Coordinate delivery and federation of models through the project lifecycle.
  • Support COBie implementation and information requirements.
  • Provide guidance and training on BIM and digital construction processes.
  • Promote adoption of digital construction technologies and drive continuous improvement.
  • Produce progress updates and reports on digital construction delivery.
  • Ensure digital requirements are incorporated into tender and construction processes.

Job description

We are currently working with a leading main contractor who are looking to appoint an experienced Digital Construction Manager to join their team in London.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced digital construction professional to take a key role in supporting the successful delivery of BIM and digital construction across major projects.

The Role:

As Digital Construction Manager, you will be responsible for driving digital construction delivery throughout the project lifecycle, working closely with project teams, designers, consultants and supply chain partners.

You will play a key role in ensuring BIM processes, information management standards and digital delivery strategies are implemented effectively across projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and coordinate digital construction and BIM activities across projects.
  • Manage and support design coordination and clash detection processes
  • Work closely with design teams, consultants and subcontractors to identify and resolve design issues.
  • Support the development and implementation of BIM Execution Plans (BEP) and Employer's Information Requirements (EIR).Manage project information and ensure compliance with agreed digital standards and procedures.
  • Coordinate the delivery and federation of models throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Support the implementation of COBie and ensure information requirements are met.
  • Provide guidance and training to project teams and supply chain partners on BIM and digital construction processes.
  • Promote the adoption of digital construction technologies and drive continuous improvement.
  • Produce regular progress updates and reports relating to digital construction delivery.
  • Work closely with project and design teams to ensure digital requirements are incorporated into tender and construction processes.
About You!

The successful candidate will have:

  • Proven experience working in a Digital Construction / BIM Management role within the construction industry.
  • Strong knowledge of design coordination and clash detection.
  • Good working knowledge of COBie and information management.
  • Strong understanding of BIM processes, including BEPs, EIRs and ISO 19650 principles.
  • Experience working with multidisciplinary design teams, consultants and subcontractors.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder managementskills.
  • The ability to drive digital adoption and support project teams in implementing BIM processes.
  • A proactive approach with strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
