Job summary

Amentum in Birchwood Park, Warrington, is seeking a Civil, Structural & Architectural Designer to join our team. You will develop and document design solutions for facility structures using Revit and AutoCAD, integrate with engineers, and support multidisciplinary delivery.

Responsibilities include modelling, option layouts, and detailed drawings, with on-site checks to verify as-built conditions and interfaces.

Qualifications

Understanding of engineering and architectural principles.
Ability to apply codes, standards and regulations.
Proficiency in relevant design software and BIM platforms.
Basic understanding of structural analysis and civil infrastructure design.
Understanding of construction methods and sequencing.
Experience supporting design delivery on construction or infrastructure projects.
Exposure to multidisciplinary design environments.

Responsibilities

Producing baseline configuration modelling of the facility structure within the project areas of interest (Revit).
Supporting the engineer to develop layouts of options to support down-selection through Value Management (AutoCAD/Revit).
Detailing the single preferred solution, producing drawings and details to communicate design intent and specification to contractors and other stakeholders for implementation (AutoCAD/Revit).
Attend site inspections to confirm design scope and interfaces in order to accurately reflect the as-built configuration of the facility within design solution details.
