Job summary

Amentum is seeking a Civil, Structural & Architectural Designer to join our Birchwood Park, Warrington team. You will model facility structures in Revit, develop option layouts with AutoCAD/Revit, and finalize drawings that communicate design intent for contractors.

The role involves detailing the preferred solution and participating in site inspections to ensure accurate as-built reflection within the design solution.

Qualifications

• Experience with engineering and architectural principles applicable to infrastructure projects.
• Ability to apply codes, standards and regulations in design.
• Proficiency in industry design software and BIM platforms.
• Basic understanding of structural analysis and civil infrastructure design.
• Knowledge of construction methods and sequencing.
• Experience supporting design delivery on construction or infrastructure projects.
• Exposure to multidisciplinary design environments.

Responsibilities

• Producing baseline configuration modelling of the facility structure within the project areas (Revit).
• Supporting the engineer to develop layouts of options to support down-selection through Value Management (AutoCAD/Revit).
• Detailing the single preferred solution, producing drawings to communicate design intent to contractors and stakeholders (AutoCAD/Revit).
• Attend site inspections to confirm design scope and interfaces for as-built reflection.
