Job summary

Johnson Controls seeks a BIM Coordinator to support design and coordination of projects using AutoCAD and BIM technologies. You will develop and maintain BIM models, project documentation, and design deliverables to meet customer and project requirements.

You will work with sales teams and customers to tailor solutions and promote BIM best practices. You will also help develop training materials and drive continuous improvement of BIM processes across projects to ensure high-quality delivery

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction, Architecture, BIM, Digital Construction, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Minimum of 3 years' experience in system design, BIM coordination, or a related technical role.
• Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD, BIM software, and digital design tools.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Experience producing and coordinating technical drawings and project documentation.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work effectively across multiple projects and teams.

BIM Coordinator

What You Will Do

As a BIM Coordinator, you will be responsible for supporting the design and coordination of projects using AutoCAD and Building Information Modelling (BIM) technologies. You will develop and maintain BIM models, project documentation, and design deliverables to meet customer and project requirements. Working closely with sales teams, project stakeholders, and customers, you will help customise solutions, improve design processes, and support the effective use of BIM tools and standards across projects. You will also play a key role in developing training materials and promoting best practice adoption to ensure consistent, high-quality project delivery. This is an excellent opportunity for a collaborative and technically skilled professional to contribute to innovative projects while driving digital excellence across the business.

How You Will Do It

What We Are Looking For

Required:

• Experience within the fire protection, construction, or building services industry.
