Job summary

Johnson Controls is seeking a BIM Coordinator to support design and coordination of projects using AutoCAD and BIM. You will develop BIM models, drawings, and documentation, collaborating with sales teams and customers to tailor solutions and promote BIM best practices across projects.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years' experience in system design, BIM coordination, or related technical role
• Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD, BIM software, and digital design tools
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Experience producing and coordinating technical drawings and project documentation
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to work across multiple projects and teams

What You Will Do

As a BIM Coordinator, you will be responsible for supporting the design and coordination of projects using AutoCAD and Building Information Modelling (BIM) technologies. You will develop and maintain BIM models, project documentation, and design deliverables to meet customer and project requirements. Working closely with sales teams, project stakeholders, and customers, you will help customise solutions, improve design processes, and support the effective use of BIM tools and standards across projects. You will also play a key role in developing training materials and promoting best practice adoption to ensure consistent, high-quality project delivery. How You Will Do It

What We Are Looking For

Required:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction, Architecture, BIM, Digital Construction, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Minimum of 3 years' experience in system design, BIM coordination, or a related technical role.
• Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD, BIM software, and digital design tools.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Experience producing and coordinating technical drawings and project documentation.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work effectively across multiple projects and teams.

Preferred:

• Experience delivering BIM training or supporting user adoption initiatives.
• Knowledge of BIM standards and best practices.
• Familiarity with Autodesk Forma and other Autodesk Construction Cloud solutions.
• Experience within the fire protection, construction, or building services industry.
