Job summary

Johnson Controls is seeking a BIM Coordinator to support design and coordination of projects using AutoCAD and BIM. You will develop BIM models, drawings, and documentation, collaborating with sales teams and customers to tailor solutions and promote BIM best practices across projects.

The role emphasizes supporting training, maintaining records, and driving digital excellence within a collaborative team environment. A relevant degree and hands-on BIM experience are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction, architecture, BIM, digital construction, or equivalent
• Minimum 3 years' experience in system design, BIM coordination, or related technical role
• Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD, BIM software, and digital design tools
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Experience producing and coordinating technical drawings and project documentation
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to work across multiple projects and teams

Responsibilities

• Develop and coordinate project designs using AutoCAD and BIM software
• Create and maintain BIM models, drawings and technical documentation
• Support development of project-specific applications and digital deliverables
• Collaborate with sales teams and customers to understand project requirements and expectations
• Ensure designs and BIM deliverables meet customer specifications and standards
• Support BIM processes and workflows with continuous improvement
• Provide guidance and training to project teams on BIM best practices
• Coordinate design information across stakeholders to improve delivery
• Maintain accurate project records and document control procedures
• Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance quality and efficiency
