Job Title: BIM and Digital Delivery Manager, Haywards Heath

We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced candidate to join JBA Consulting as the BIM and Digital Delivery Manager to support our work across the South of England and South Wales.

The role involves managing, leading, and growing our existing Digital Delivery Team of 2D and 3D BIM CAD technicians, as well as working directly on projects. Our projects span sectors including flood risk management, maritime, and infrastructure, progressing through various design stages from concept to construction. A key aspect of your role will be supporting our teams on the Environment Agency’s Collaborative Delivery Framework, a significant 8-year partnership delivering schemes with a construction value of up to approximately £50 million.

Main duties of the role include:

• Supporting and championing the development and implementation of new digital design tools across JBA Consulting, working with our national BIM and Digital Delivery Manager.
• Providing leadership for BIM and digital delivery across the South of England and South Wales.
• Leading the existing southern Digital Delivery Team.
• Supporting successful project delivery through the production of 3D digital models and BIM processes.
• Ensuring Quality Assurance of digital designs.

You will collaborate closely with our national BIM and Digital Delivery Manager, local management teams, and design leaders, providing mentorship and leadership within the southern Digital Delivery Team.

Qualifications and experience:

The ideal candidate will effectively manage workload in a busy environment, take ownership of issues, and work autonomously to find solutions. Mentoring and developing junior staff is a key aspect of this role. We welcome applications from individuals who meet most of the following criteria:

• Experience in leading and developing teams.
• Industry experience of BIM within civil/structural engineering.
• Experience managing Common Data Environments (CDE), such as SharePoint.
• Proficiency in 2D and 3D modelling software, e.g., Autodesk AutoCAD, Revit, Civil 3D, Navisworks.
• Experience producing high-quality technical and construction drawings and models.
• Professional membership of a recognized institution, such as ICE or CIWEM.
