Delivery Manager – £50,000 – Remote/Monthly South West meetups – 12 months FTC

The Role

You will join a talented team of experts as part of the Delivery Function – managing a portfolio of projects, delivering innovative technology solutions, and guiding teams through challenges. You will work on various projects, including retained projects for private and public sector clients, enterprise application development, and CMS builds. You will help scope services across a range of clients.

You will have:

• Proven experience as a Delivery Manager, Senior Manager, or similar role managing multiple concurrent design and build technology projects.
• Strong understanding of user-centered design principles and GDS standards, with hands-on experience delivering digital products aligned with these practices.
• Expertise in applying Agile methodologies and project delivery tools, with a deep understanding of techniques to maximise client value.
• Strong leadership skills, motivating teams, solving problems, and delivering results, while contributing to the delivery process.
• Experience with public and private sector projects, familiarity with managing projects for arms-length bodies is a plus.
• Solid experience with complex CMS design and build, web and application design, and Power Platform projects.
• Exceptional communication skills to manage relationships with stakeholders and handle difficult conversations empathetically.
• Ability to adapt to rapidly changing environments, maintaining focus and delivering innovative solutions.

You will be detail-oriented, task-driven, and capable of organising the development team and managing priorities.

You will be a delivery evangelist, eager to challenge and push the team forward, with a constant desire for learning and development. Managing difficult stakeholders with a positive attitude is essential.
