Job Description:

Delivery Manager – £50,000 – Remote/Monthly South West meetups – 12 months FTC - Force for good, remote first business, flexible working, part time considered, 20 + 8 days bank holiday, private medical, weekly lunches, mental health support & more!

The Role

You will join a talented team of experts as part of the Delivery Function – manage a portfolio of projects, help deliver innovative technology solutions for clients, and guide teams through challenges. You will work on various projects, particularly retained projects for both private and public sector clients, enterprise application development, and CMS builds. You will assist the business in scoping their services across a range of clients.

You will have:

• Proven experience in a Delivery Manager, Senior Manager, or similar role delivering multiple concurrent design and build technology projects.
• Strong understanding of user-centered design principles and GDS standards, with hands-on experience delivering digital products in line with these practices.
• Expertise in applying Agile methodologies and project delivery tools, with a deep understanding of when and how to use specific techniques to maximize value for clients.
• Strong leadership skills, with the ability to motivate teams, solve problems, and deliver results—while being willing to contribute directly to the delivery process.
• Experience working with both public and private sector clients, with familiarity in managing projects for arms-length bodies a plus.
• Solid experience with complex CMS design and build, web design, application development, and Power Platform projects.
• Exceptional communication skills to manage relationships with key stakeholders and handle difficult conversations with empathy.
• Ability to adapt and manage uncertainty in rapidly changing environments, maintaining focus and delivering innovative solutions.

You will be detail-oriented, task-driven, and capable of organizing the existing development team while managing priorities.

You will be a delivery evangelist. The team utilizes Agile methodologies but seeks continuous challenge and growth. They value learning and development and aim to improve constantly. You should have a flair for managing difficult stakeholders and a positive, 'get it done' attitude.
