Job summary

Aztec Group is seeking a Billing Specialist to support client billing, data maintenance and daily team operations on a 6‑month contract in a hybrid setup in Southampton. The role reports to the Billing Manager and involves processing bills, resolving queries, and assisting process improvements.

The ideal candidate has finance/AP experience, strong computer skills and a knack for accuracy, with the ability to work independently or within a team.

Qualifications

• Previous Finance / Accounts Payable administration experience preferable.
• Computer literacy skills are essential.
• Attention to detail and accuracy required.
• Excellent interpersonal skills to work with colleagues and clients.
• Ability to manage own workload, work independently and in a team.

Responsibilities

• Review and prepare client billing in line with requests on a timely basis.
• Assist with maintenance of monitoring schedules and data.
• Liaise with internal personnel to resolve issues and answer queries.
• Assist with development of billing and time recording system processes.
• Support ad-hoc projects as required.
