Clyde & Co is seeking an experienced Billing Controller to manage the end-to-end billing process for allocated practice groups and Partners, owning WIP, aged debt and financial reporting to improve billing performance and cash collection. This 12 month FTC role involves collaboration with finance, revenue control and legal support teams.

Responsibilities include monitoring WIP, reviewing bills, and producing reports while driving improvements in billing turnaround and expenditure control.

Qualifikationen

• Experience in a Billing Controller, Revenue Controller or Finance role within professional services.
• Experience managing complex billing processes and building stakeholder relationships.
• Strong experience of WIP management, aged debt management and financial reporting.
• Good understanding of client billing requirements and e-billing platforms.
• Strong understanding of billing, revenue and working capital management processes.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and experience with practice management and finance systems.
• Strong numerical and analytical skills with the ability to produce meaningful reports.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Aufgaben

• Manage end-to-end billing process for allocated practice groups and Partners.
• Prepare, review and process bills in line with client requirements.
• Monitor WIP and aged debt, identify opportunities and action as needed.
• Collaborate with Partners, fee earners and Credit Control to improve cash collection.
• Review unpaid invoices and support debt recovery initiatives.
• Produce and analyse billing, WIP and aged debt reports and KPIs.
• Support month-end and year-end billing activities and budgeting.
• Build relationships across teams and provide guidance on billing practices.
