Portsmouth Water are delighted to have an opening for a Billing and Revenue Assurance Lead to shape the future of our billing operations. Joining our Debt Management team, you’ll ensure accurate and timely bills while providing the insight, assurance and controls needed to support a modern, data-driven billing environment.

You’ll own billing assurance, monitor performance, and collaborate across Finance, Customer Services and Product to maintain end-to-end billing integrity and support smart

Qualifications

• Proven experience in billing, revenue assurance, or financial controls.
• Strong understanding of billing systems; Kraken experience desirable.
• Knowledge of tariff structures, billing agreements, and consumption data.
• Analytical mindset with experience creating KPIs and dashboards.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Experience managing data quality and operational controls.

Responsibilities

• Own billing assurance and governance for timely, accurate billing.
• Monitor billing health; address late bills, aged unbilled accounts, and gaps.
• Drive data quality around meter readings, tariff changes, and consumption reporting.
• Provide billing assurance support for smart meter rollout activities.
• Develop management information, reporting and insights from billing data.
• Collaborate with Finance, Customer Services, Product, Wholesale and partners to maintain billing integrity.
• Act as contact for billing audits and regulatory reviews.
