Job summary

Loop is hiring a Billing Customer Relationship Manager in Bradford to deliver exceptional service for Yorkshire Water customers. Hybrid working is available, with a start salary from £27,417 rising to £31,942 per annum, plus a pension, annual bonus, and generous leave.

You will handle billing enquiries across channels, update records, and support vulnerable customers while working within a responsive, flexible team.

Qualifications

• 6 months experience in a customer service environment.
• Good Maths & English skills (GCSELevel 4 Pass or equivalent).
• Emotional intelligence to listen and understand customer needs with empathy.
• Confident verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to adapt to change and work flexibly.
• Capable of applying logical reasoning to identify and resolve issues.
• Strong IT skills and ability to use multiple systems.
• Motivated to work in a fast-paced, performance-driven environment.
• Ability to work under pressure and remain calm in challenging situations.
• Attention to detail to ensure accuracy for customers.

Responsibilities

• Take responsibility in handling billing queries and resolve first time.
• Understand and resolve billing customer queries with tailored options.
• Escalate outside-normal-parameters queries to leadership for speedy resolution.
• Identify vulnerable customers and offer appropriate outcomes and support.
• Update customer information to keep records current.
• Contribute to regulated company performance by logging customer contacts.
• Own personal performance and engage in improvements and internal procedures.
