Job summary

Optimum Recruitment Group is supporting a Leeds-based service business to appoint a Finance Analyst to the Accounts Receivable and Billing team. You will generate billing, perform cash allocation, and manage specific client ledgers.

The role requires excellent Excel skills (formulas, VLOOKUPs, pivots), strong attention to detail, and a professional, client-focused approach to queries. You will work in a busy office environment, log journal entries in Oracle, reconcile balance sheets, and respond

Qualifications

• Excellent attention to detail

• Excel skills are a must – formulas, v-lookups, pivots etc…
• The ability to prioritise a constantly changing workload in order to meet tight deadlines

Responsibilities

• Generating billing – both through automated system and manual ad-hoc requests
• Cash Allocation
• Managing debt on a specific set of client ledgers
• Account Analysis
• Journal entry into Oracle
• Reconciling balance sheet accounts
• Responding to queries via email / telephone
• Providing support across the department as and when needed
