Job summary

Morgan McKinley is seeking a Technical Engineer – German Speaker (Electronics & V&V) based in Lewes, UK, with travel to Germany. This role focuses on direct client engagement, requirements gathering, and hands-on testing of electronics and verification processes.

The candidate will analyze data from Ethernet and serial protocols, support system integration, and provide on-site assessments where needed. No software coding is required, but strong electronics knowledge and protocol understanding

Qualifications

• Fluent in German and English (written and spoken).
• Strong foundation in electronics with hands-on V&V experience.
• Understanding of software concepts and protocol architectures (no coding).
• Experience with Ethernet and serial communications protocols.

Responsibilities

• Gather client requirements from German customers and translate to UK team.
• Lead protocol analysis, data interpretation, and troubleshooting.
• Oversee V&V activities and issue final device approval for dispatch.
• Support hardware/software integration and on-site evaluations in Germany as needed.
