Job summary

Travail-Employment-Group in Leeds is seeking an Internal Sales Engineer to join our electronics team. You will manage orders, provide technical support and build strong client relationships with distributors and end users.

The role combines sales with engineering knowledge, including BOM creation, quotations and collaboration with internal and external teams. A second language (German or French) is a plus and a driving licence is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum HNC in Electronics, control systems or automation.
• Excellent communication and persuasive skills.
• Full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Liaise with existing customers on a day to day basis regarding orders and issues.
• Provide technical support by phone, email and face to face when necessary.
• Build and manage excellent relationships with distributors and end users.
• Upsell and cross-sell where possible.
• Research and cold call new and potential customers.
• Provide quotations, produce BOMs and purchase from suppliers.
• Work with internal development teams and external manufacturers to meet client specs.
