About Our Client
Our client is a globally renowned leader in the transport & export sector, specializing in handling for large blue-chip entities across numerous sectors.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage all aspects of assigned business accounts to meet sales targets, developing strong relationships with key customers.
- Support the development of new business and revenue opportunities, identifying unique selling points (USPs), value creation, and fostering customer relationships.
- Visit customers regularly, attend meetings, prepare presentations, and investigate/resolving complaints and queries as required.
- Review financial and commercial performance regularly with Project Managers and the Senior Team.
- Process customer purchase orders accurately and manage expenditures according to specific requirements.
- Address customer complaints and queries, implementing preventive measures to avoid recurrence.
- Represent the company at key industry trade exhibitions when required.
- Report sales progress weekly or monthly, or as required by line management, including travel to the HQ when necessary.
- Collect market and customer information and provide feedback and opportunities to management regularly.
- Accept other tasks or projects as assigned by senior management.
The Successful Candidate
The ideal candidate will:
- Be fluent in one or more European languages (e.g., French, German, Swiss, Portuguese, Dutch, or Polish) — non-preferential.
- Have proven account management experience within the manufacturing industry.
- Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Be capable of effective communication at all levels with internal and external customers to maintain and build vital relationships.
- Work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Be self-motivated and able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Have organizational and prioritization skills to meet demanding deadlines.
- Be able to identify and address issues promptly.
- Have essential experience using SAP.
