I am representing a well-established global insurer with strong market presence and exciting plans for growth. Their Manchester operation services brokers throughout the regions for both new and existing business dealing with a broad range of commercial and niche risks. I am working on their behalf to secure an experienced Underwriting Technician to join them in a newly created multinational team.

Your role will involve supporting administration and account management of global business, working with UK based underwriting teams on the placement of multinational Property & Liability risks. You will develop excellent relationships with internal stakeholders and partner brokers and be the key point of contact for all enquiries relating to the account whilst working to specified timescales and considering law and regulation of different territories.

It is essential that candidates come from a commercial insurance background with multinational exposure a distinct advantage, though applicants from either insurer or broker background are welcome. Essentially you must be able to demonstrate experience working in a quality focused support role that involves liaising with internal and external stakeholders. The successful candidate will be a highly organised, proactive, and personable individual with good IT skills and the ability to prioritise when working to deadlines.
