Job summary

Kier Group is seeking an experienced Bid Writer to join the Pre-Construction team in Salford or Speke. This hybrid role supports timely, compelling proposals across education, healthcare, defence, and infrastructure, collaborating with bid managers and subject matter experts.

You will craft tailored responses, coordinate content, and drive improvements in presentation while maintaining high standards of clarity and accuracy.

Qualifications

• Degree-level education or equivalent in writing, communications or marketing.
• Experience in bid writing within a complex environment.
• Ability to translate technical information into clear, engaging content.
• Excellent written communication with attention to detail and consistency.
• Strong interpersonal skills to influence and engage stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate responses to PQQs and ITT documents.
• Facilitate storyboard sessions to develop structured client responses.
• Tailor existing content to client requirements and project context.
• Edit contributions from departments to meet deadlines.
• Drive continuous improvement using client feedback and innovative presentation.
