Job summary

Neighbourly is seeking a Bid Writer to support Countrywide Grounds Maintenance with high-quality tender content. The role involves liaising with franchisees, drafting responses, and building a library of proposal content.

Based in Brackley, the position requires the ability to manage multiple tenders and meet deadlines, with a focus on improving bid quality through collaboration and evidence-based writing.

Qualifications

• Experience in grounds maintenance or facilities management sector would be beneficial.
• High level of computer literacy (Microsoft Office suite).
• Evidence of producing high scoring written content for competitive tenders.

Responsibilities

• Produce high scoring proposal content that meets specific client requirements.
• Author tender responses in response to specific tender questions and in line with evaluation criteria.
• Review existing written material, edit, and amend to improve bid quality.
• Actively seek high quality content from internal and external stakeholders to improve proposal quality.
• Support the franchise network with first appointments, site visits and internal meetings to develop opportunity knowledge.
• Create case studies and testimonials to identify benefits of awarding contracts to Countrywide.
