Role Overview

A Bid Writer position within a successful organisation, working on complex bidding solutions in the Facilities Management Sector. Offers significant career development opportunities in a supportive, employee-oriented environment.

The Person

A motivated professional with excellent interpersonal and bid writing skills, capable of producing high-quality submissions from start to finish.

Job Purpose

To increase the quality and quantity of bids, ensuring successful delivery of tender documentation. The role requires a highly motivated individual with substantial bid writing or management experience.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Full bid writing responsibilities, involving other contracts and proposals.
  2. Developing collateral with contributions from sales, marketing, and operations.
  3. Maintaining knowledge of company practices to respond effectively to tenders.
  4. Writing bids, including ITT, PQQ, and RFQ responses.
  5. Attending meetings with the Business Development team to strategize and coordinate.
  6. Creating and producing compelling tenders, proposals, and reports within deadlines.
  7. Creating presentations and reports as needed.
  8. Reviewing, editing, and ensuring all tender submissions meet deadlines and quality standards.
  9. Collaborating with the bid library manager on bid resources.
  10. Adhering to company policies and ethical standards.
Additional Responsibilities

Proofreading, preparing project budgets, supporting evaluation and sign-off processes, monitoring bidding progress, and maintaining professional relationships.

Skills and Qualifications
  • Experience in bid writing or management; industry experience in facilities management is advantageous.
  • Excellent IT skills, including Microsoft Office and desktop publishing tools.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure, attention to detail, and high-quality output.
  • Fluency in spoken and written English.
Additional Information

Full training will be provided. Relevant professional experience is desirable. The role is entry-level, full-time, and based remotely.
