The person

A motivated professional with excellent interpersonal and bid writing skills, capable of delivering high-quality submissions from start to finish within the Bid Management division.

Job Purpose

We have an exciting opportunity for a highly capable individual to enhance the quality and quantity of bids and ensure successful tender delivery. The role requires a professional with excellent interpersonal and writing skills, managing the bid process end-to-end.

This position is suitable for someone with bid writing experience, possessing substantial proficiency in bid writing and/or management.

Bid Duties Would Include

  • Full bid writing responsibilities, involving other contracts and proposals.
  • Developing collateral—writing/editing input from stakeholders across sales, marketing, and operations.
  • Maintaining knowledge of company practices to respond effectively to tenders.
  • Writing bids, including ITT, PQQ, and RFQ documents.
  • Attending Teams meetings with the Business Development team to strategize and coordinate.
  • Collating data and completing RFI, PQQ, ITT, and RFQ responses within deadlines.
  • Creating compelling, professional tender documents and presentations.
  • Reviewing and editing tender materials, ensuring timely submission.
  • Collaborating with the bid library manager to maintain bid resources.

Additional Responsibilities

  • Proofreading all documentation for quality and consistency.
  • Producing high-quality bid documentation aligned with company and client requirements.
  • Liaising with various departments to prepare budgets, schedules, and work packages.
  • Supporting evaluation and sign-off processes before submission.
  • Monitoring bid progress and resolving issues.
  • Applying professional writing skills to successful bids and presentations.
  • Utilizing IT skills to produce and edit tender documents.
  • Building and maintaining professional relationships internally and externally.
  • Working effectively under pressure to meet deadlines.

Previous experience is desirable but not essential, as full training will be provided. The candidate should demonstrate professionalism, good communication, and a proactive attitude. Industry experience in facilities management is advantageous but not mandatory. Fluency in English is essential.
