Job summary

In Leeds, an established Tier One M&E contractor is seeking a Bid Manager to lead the complete tender lifecycle from enquiry to contract award.

You will collaborate with estimating, commercial and operations teams to produce compliant, commercially attractive bid submissions for high value residential, commercial and industrial projects.

The role demands strong written communication, meticulous attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple bids to tight deadlines.

Qualifications

• Experience leading end-to-end bid processes for construction projects.
• Strong written communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to review complex M&E specifications and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end bid process from EOIs and PQQs to submission and post-tender negotiations.
• Review complex M&E specifications, drawings and enquiry documents to craft compliant, competitive bids.
• Collaborate with estimating to assess risks, prices and subcontractor quotations.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants and internal teams to ensure clear bid communication and on-site visits when needed.
• Ensure bid documentation, method statements, H&S/CDM data and pricing are accurate and timely.
• Prepare project handover documentation for delivery teams after award.
