Job summary

Walker Morris in Leeds is seeking a Bid Coordinator to support the delivery of high-quality proposals. You'll help win new work and strengthen client relationships by coordinating bids, drafting content, and ensuring timely submission.

Reporting to the Senior Manager - Bids, you will work with lawyers, partners and the Bids & Proposals team to tailor responses, maintain the bid library, and improve templates and processes.

Qualifications

• Experience in bids, business development or marketing, ideally in legal or professional services.
• Strong writing, editing and proofreading skills with adaptability for different clients and formats.
• Excellent organisational skills to meet deadlines and manage multiple tasks.
• Confident communication with partners, fee earners and support teams.
• Willingness to learn bid management and project coordination.

Responsibilities

• Manage production of proposals and credentials, tailoring content to client, opportunity and sector.
• Coordinate assigned workstreams, track actions and meet deadlines in formal bids.
• Draft and proofread proposal content from lawyers and specialists into clear responses.
• Assist with client questionnaires and supplier portal responses, ensuring consistency.
• Maintain and improve the bid content library (experiences, CVs, case studies).
• Record matter experience in SharePoint for future bids and client development.
• Support pursuit activity with market and client research and bid qualification prep.
• Maintain opportunity data in InterAction+ CRM and assist with reporting.
• Monitor tender inboxes and route new opportunities to the right colleagues.
• Help improve bid templates, tools and workflows.
