Job summary

Grimshaw Architects is seeking a Bid Coordinator to join the Business Development team in London. You will coordinate bids, tenders and framework submissions, ensuring deadlines are met and materials are polished.

Collaborate with BD, Marketing, Bid Specialists, Bid Designers, Project Leaders and Partners to deliver compliant proposals. APMP qualification is encouraged, with support toward accreditation as needed.

Qualifications

  • Experience supporting bids, tenders or business development, ideally in architecture, engineering, construction or the built environment.
  • Strong organisational skills and excellent attention to detail.
  • Confident with Microsoft Office; Adobe Acrobat/InDesign experience a plus.
  • APMP Foundation qualification, or willingness to work towards it.
  • Proactive, collaborative, and comfortable managing multiple deadlines.
  • Previous experience in professional services or an architectural practice is desirable but not essential.

  • Coordinating PQQs, tenders, proposals, framework submissions and expressions of interest.
  • Managing bid programmes, action trackers, document registers and checklists.
  • Liaising with internal teams and external consultants to gather information to deadline.
  • Formatting and quality-checking submission documents and supporting materials.
  • Maintaining the bid library, project database and BD systems.
  • Supporting bid reviews, kick-off meetings, reporting and lessons learned.

Job description

Grimshaw Architects is looking for an organised, detail-focused Bid Coordinator to join our Business Development team in London. You'll provide essential coordination and administrative support throughout the bid lifecycle — working with Business Development, Marketing, Bid Specialists, Bid Designers, Project Leaders and Partners to help deliver bids, proposals, framework submissions and competition entries that are compliant, well presented and on time.

What You'll Be Doing
