Job summary

Justteachers Ltd. is seeking a dedicated Behaviour Support Assistant for a specialist school in Leeds. You will provide 1:1 and small group support to pupils with SEMH needs and challenging behaviours, helping them manage emotions and behaviour in and out of the classroom.

We are looking for a calm, patient candidate with strong communication skills to engage with students and staff. This role offers ongoing training and the chance to make a meaningful difference in young people’s lives.

We are currently working on behalf of a specialist school in Leeds to recruit a dedicated Behaviour Support Assistant to join their team. This is a rewarding opportunity to support pupils with social, emotional and mental health (SEMH) needs and challenging behaviours.

The school has identified the need for a strong male role model within the team to help engage and support students effectively, providing consistency, structure and positive influence.

• Backgrounds in youth work, sports coaching, mentoring, care or similar are highly desirable
