Job summary

Levy UK & Ireland is looking for a Logistics Manager to oversee the end-to-end back-of-house beverage supply operation for live events at SEC. You will manage procurement, stock control and distribution, coordinating with internal teams and external vendors to ensure timely, cost-effective beverage services across multiple outlets.

Qualifications

• Proven experience managing a large-scale beverage, liquor, cellar, warehouse or BOH operation.
• Experience managing beverage financials, including purchasing, stock valuation, cost control, variance and/or beverage GP.
• Experience managing the physical movement and distribution of beverage stock across multiple outlets/event spaces.
• Proven experience coordinating large-scale event setup, delivery and breakdown.
• Experience managing beverage suppliers and negotiating commercial terms.
• Experience leading a BOH, logistics, warehouse, cellar or beverage team.
• Strong understanding of stock control and inventory reconciliation.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with event organisers to understand logistics requirements for live events, conferences and exhibitions.
• Develop comprehensive logistics plans that cover resource allocation, transportation, and setup schedules.
• Oversee procurement, storage and distribution of event materials, equipment and supplies.
• Identify, negotiate, and manage contracts with external vendors and suppliers to secure the best services and pricing.
• Develop and manage budgets for logistics operations, ensuring costs are controlled.
• Coordinate transportation logistics for equipment, materials, and personnel to ensure timely delivery.
• Implement and enforce safety and compliance protocols for logistics operations.
• Lead and motivate a team of logistics professionals to deliver high-quality event experiences.
