Job summary

Matthew Clark Ltd is seeking a Driver's Mate to join our regional depots and assist Drivers with deliveries to pubs, clubs, hotels, and restaurants. You will participate in loading/unloading, navigation, and paperwork while prioritising safety and professionalism with customers.

Based at one of our regional depots, you’ll interact with customers to review orders, resolve issues, and contribute to outstanding service. A readiness to learn and strong teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• Must meet minimum age requirement to handle alcohol and enter customer premises.
• Able to assist with loading and unloading deliveries.
• Willingness to learn and work effectively as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with drivers to transport beverages to pubs, clubs, bars and restaurants across the region.
• Assist with loading/unloading and map navigation; support tricky vehicle man manoeuvres.
• Review delivery orders with customers; ensure accuracy and address concerns, including missing items.
