Job summary

Matthew Clark is recruiting a Multi-Drop Class 2 Driver to join our team on a full-time permanent basis. You will deliver orders to customer premises with a Driver's Mate, ensuring deliveries are on time and in full and that all safety procedures are followed.

The ideal candidate has over three years of driving experience, including at least 12 months on Class 2, a valid HGV licence and CPC, and a strong customer-service focus with clear communication.

Qualifications

• Over three years of driving experience.
• 12 months or more of Class 2 driving experience.
• Valid HGV licence and CPC certification.
• Excellent customer service and communication abilities.

Responsibilities

• Undertake vehicle inspection checks.
• Deliver orders to customers' premises with a Driver's Mate.
• Secure and pack orders for delivery prior to departure.
• Liaise with Driver’s Mate to receive running sheets and orders.
• Inform customers of delays or stock issues.
• Assist with unloading and return of empties.
• Collect pallets/kegs and store correctly at depot.
• Follow health and safety procedures at all times.
• Complete paperwork and EPOD tasks; liaise on vehicle issues.
