Portsmouth City Council's Best Start Family Hub network is recruiting a Best Start in Life Practitioner to support babies and young children aged 0-5 and their families with early, practical, and inclusive help.

Based at Paulsgrove Family Hub, the role focuses on needs-led support, strengthening access to the full Best Start offer, working in partnership with local services, and promoting inclusion. Hybrid working requires a minimum of two days in the office per week.

Competenze

• Level 3 qualification (or equivalent experience).
• Experience working with children aged 0-5 and their families, including those with emerging or additional needs.
• Good understanding of child development, safeguarding, inclusion, speech and language development, and early intervention.
