Buckinghamshire Council is seeking a BSiL Family Hub Assistant to be the first point of contact in the Family Hub in Aylesbury, providing information, admin support and signposting to services.
You will greet visitors, handle enquiries by phone/email, assist with room bookings, maintain records and support safeguarding.
This is a fixed location, full-time role for 18 months, working in a busy, community-focused team to help families access help.

We have an exciting opportunity for a BSiL Family Hub Assistant to join our Family Hub Service. As the first point of contact within the hub, you will play a key role in creating a welcoming, inclusive and supportive environment for families, partners and any site visitors.
Working as part of a friendly team, you will provide information, administrative support and practical assistance to help ensure the smooth day-to-day running of the Family Hub while helping local families access the services and support they need.
1 x Full Time, centre based, position based in Aylesbury - 18 month Fixed Term/Secondment.

As a Family Hub Assistant, you will be responsible for ensuring visitors receive a warm welcome and can easily access the information, services and support available through the Family Hub.

As a ‘fixed’ worker, you’ll spend most of your time in the same location, which will likely be a fixed office or location where your role is performed. Typically, you’ll be based in the same location as the rest of your team, because you provide a particular service from that fixed location or need access to information there.
