Job summary

Trinasolar ISBU is seeking a BESS Site Manager in the UK to lead on-site construction and commissioning activities. You will supervise contractors from the Owner side, ensure quality, and maintain strict schedules across European projects.

The role requires UK PV solar experience, BESS experience in the UK, and the ability to travel within the UK and work on-site in Stoke-On-Trent, with a start by mid-September 2026.

Qualifications

• 3+ years PV solar experience in the UK.
• At least 1 year BESS experience in the UK.
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Valid driving license.

Responsibilities

• Supervise on-site construction and commissioning works from Owner side for all contractors (ICP, BoP, BESS).
• Monitor quality compliance and strict adherence to the execution timeline.
• Monitor and control construction progress against the contract schedule.
• Prepare daily/weekly progress reports including deviations and efficiency ratios.
• Ensure and supervise HSE compliance.

Main Responsibilities

• Supervise (from Owner side) all the on-site construction & commissioning works of all the Contractors (ICP, BoP, BESS).
• Monitoring Quality compliance & strict execution timeline.
• Monitoring, control and manage the construction (up to date), in accordance with the schedule date of the contract.
• Prepare dayily/weekly report with the progress status of the work, deviations and most relevant tasks as well as the efficiency ratios according to the schedule.
• Supervising HSE compliance.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience in PV solar in the UK and at least 1 year at BESS in UK
• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Driving License.
• Used to work autonomously.
• Availability to travel withing the UK.
• Availability to work on-site in Stoke-On Trent.
• Availability to start work by 15 September 2026 at the latest.
