Job summary

Bennett And Game Recruitment is seeking a Business Development Manager for bespoke packaging in the West Midlands. The role is field-based with UK-wide travel and focuses on winning new business and building relationships with brand owners, marketing teams and procurement professionals.

You will develop a strong pipeline, tailor premium packaging solutions, negotiate proposals, and progress opportunities from enquiry to sale.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in business development or B2B sales.
• Ability to win new business and build a pipeline.
• Willingness to travel across the UK.
• Commercially confident with the ability to sell value.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.

Responsibilities

• Identify, target and secure new business opportunities across the UK.
• Develop a strong pipeline of prospective customers.
• Attend customer meetings and site visits throughout the UK.
• Prepare and negotiate commercial proposals, ensuring solutions meet customer requirements.
• Maintain accurate records of prospects, opportunities and sales activity.
• Take ownership of the full new-business sales process from prospecting to order.
