Ideal Home Improvements in Rotherham is seeking a Bench Joiner / Cabinet Maker for a full-time, permanent role with an immediate start. You will manufacture bespoke furniture for kitchens, bedrooms, bathrooms and media walls in a modern workshop, reading drawings and using panel saws, edgebanders and other equipment.

A full UK driving licence is advantageous. The company offers a competitive salary dependent on experience, a modern workshop, secure long-term employment, and a friendly family-run

Qualifications

• Experience in bench joinery or cabinet making.
• Ability to read technical drawings accurately.
• Confident with operating sliding panel saws, edgebanders and similar equipment.
• Strong pride in producing high-quality work with great attention to detail.
• Reliable, hardworking and capable of working independently and in a team.

Responsibilities

• Manufacture bespoke kitchen, bedroom, bathroom and media wall furniture.
• Read technical drawings and translate into accurate production.
• Operate sliding panel saws, edgebanders and related woodworking machines.
• Assemble cabinets and fit furniture components.
• Quality-check your work before leaving the factory.
• Assist with deliveries and occasionally support on-site installations.
