Job summary

Asper Recruitment is assisting a fast-paced joinery manufacturer in the United Kingdom. The successful candidate will join a growing team focused on bespoke joinery and kitchens, working on bench joiner and wood machinist tasks.

You will need experience reading drawings, knowledge of health and safety, and the ability to work on your own initiative, while liaising with suppliers and colleagues to keep projects on track.

You will be joining a fast paced and rapidly growing company, your ability to hit the ground running and being able to work on your own initiative is necessary.

• Experience as a Bench Hand Joiner/Cabinet Maker
• Knowledge and experience of manufacturing joinery
• Knowledge and understanding of health and safety
• Knowledge of different woodworking tools and machinery as well as hand and power tools
• A meticulous and organised nature
• Must be confident consulting with suppliers and co-workers
• Reading drawings and interpreting accurately

My client are looking for a skilled bench joiner and wood machinist to join the team.
